Poetry Friday
11/11/22
Good morning, you beautiful seekers! It’s a glorious Friday with the rain cleansing the Earth and the sun taking a break.
Back on my game today! Thanks for all the support earlier this week. Today we have a selection to choose from so enjoy! I am sharing a poem that came to me during meditation Tuesday morning and I jotted it down.
Grateful
Today I am like a hawk
Who has been awakened
on a foggy fall morning.
I sit on top of a wooden fence
With my large wings spread and my beak
Toward the rising sun.
Grateful for the warmth
and the slight breeze
That dries the dew off my wings
So I can fly.
But then, as I open my eyes,
I realize it is only the glow of the candle before me.
As I sip my coffee I am grateful for the flickering light
That focuses my mind for for the journey ahead.

Here is something different for inspiration! A short video!
And for extra credit: Remember extra credit, an invitation to challenge yourself! You can try it or skip it. It won’t hurt your grade but it could help!
Turn up the sound and DANCE! Except Betty, just hold up your phone in the crowd with the flashlight on and sway, lol. (This is the song I played while we were on break before I presented my transformation story. You could not see me dance but it was so helpful to get out my nervousness!)
Also, this was not brought out in the session on Ignatus, however, I happen to know he rocked out on this as he was traveling between stops on his walkman. Haha. And, if you are not into Jesus, just dance to the music and invite the weekend in.
Blessings!
Jace
